CHALLENGE

A retail furniture chain with 10+ locations throughout the State of Florida brought in Talismark to review their waste and recycling programs.

The client wanted to ensure they were receiving a competitive rate and the correct services for all of their locations. They also wanted to have the management of all locations to be handled by one central contact.

To conduct an analysis of all locations and review all existing contracts for terms and conditions that could be changed to benefit the client.

• Recycling was added at locations where it did not previously exist
• Re-modeled the locations to ensure they were right-sized
• Changed the frequency of pick up(s) to specific location requirements/needs

THE RESULTS

An annual savings of over $350,000 was realized by the client reducing their waste & recycling annual spend.
